If you’re thinking that you won’t find many things to do in Myrtle Beach now that the summer season is behind us, you’ll have to think again! Fall brings with it the oyster harvest season and the annual favorite Murrells Inlet Oyster Festival held at Spud’s Waterfront Dining Restaurant will be taking place Saturday, November 17, 2012, from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm.
A favorite event for locals and visitors, fans of this lowcountry fare will find plenty of opportunities to indulge with everything from steamed oysters to oyster chowder. If you aren’t a fan of the oyster, you’ll find burgers, hot dogs and wings along with an assortment of beer and wine.
Along with the fabulous food, this event is full of entertainment with a musical line up that includes Marino Garbin and a special guest appearance by the Waccamaw Intermediate School Calypso Gators Steel Drum Band.
Take a quick and easy ride this weekend to Spud’s located at 4123 U.S. 17 Business in nearby Murrells Inlet, and enjoy some time at this local fall event.
